Looking for homes in all the wrong places

Petey and I have been looking for a new home since Jan. 1. And as the days have gone on, our money situation has gotten better. So you would think that finding a new home for the 4 (yes, I'm including the dog) of us would get easy?

Hell freaking no.

The owners of one house we made an offer on decided to completely take the house off of the market. They didn't even bother to negotiate with us. They took their ball and went home.

Another house we looked at and liked sold 3 days after we looked at it. Another house I wanted to look at today sold yesterday.

I thought it was supposed to be a buyer's market?

Maybe I'm too picky.

This is just a pain. And we haven't even gotten to the whole rig-a-ma-roo of inspections, financing, signing, packing, moving, etc. Thank goodness I don't have to sell my house too!

No wonder people do this every 10 years or so.

it can be such a frustrating process! we felt like we "lost" out on at least 3 houses before finding our first one in waco. BUT it ended up being the best one of all, and it was totally worth the wait! hang in there...you'll find your house at just the right time! with love, jill

awe, I'm so sorry! i know how frustrating the house process can be! I've done it twice and don't plan on it again for a while! LOL
I hope you find the home of your dreams (and in your budget! LOL) soon and the whole process goes smoothly for you :-)
