Bothersome Belly

This big belly of mine is starting to get in the way. Hold on, I have to sing.

Okay, I'm finished.

I was at church on Sunday and did my normal routine. Stand, sit, stand, sit, stand. It's like mini-aerobics on a Sunday morning.

But then, I started to kneel, and realized I COULDN'T! I looked at Petey and mouthed "Oh my God!!" Which, thinking about it now, I didn't really take the Lord's name in vein if I was at church...right?

Anyway, so the entire time I am kneeling (or attempting to), I'm trying to get close enough to the back of the pew to get my knees on the cushion. But it's not working. I'm trying and trying, but I can't get my knees on the cushion!!! My belly is in the way!!!

So I just had to sit during the kneeling process like the non-catholics or elderly people do. And I felt bad.

Then today I'm sitting in my chair at work and trying to get close to the table so my back is supported, but guess what???? I CAN'T get close to the table because I have a belly that's in my way!!! How much fun is that? Now my back is hurting like no-other and I just have to deal with it! ACK!

At lunch time the restaurant was a little crowded so I tried to get up close to the counter to let passer-bys through so they can walk behind me. Do you think that happened??? NOOOOO! Me and my big belly (and big butt too) couldn't get close enough to the counter, so the people leaving had to wait until I moved. Sigh. (Still finished my lunch though, btw.)

It's just a change. I'm just not used to this. And, yes, I am pregnant and that's part of the Pregnancy Package. I guess I just didn't get how different I would feel. Inside and out.
