I'm Not Alone (duh!)

Another "light-turns-on-over-head" moment I experienced Sunday morning.

Here I am, happy as a bird, asleep. Unfortunately, I had a pretty bad nightmare.

I was the passenger in a SUV of women driving down the highway. I was sitting in the front seat and pregnant. (I guess I'm pregnant now in my dreams.)

Anyway, the driver starts to increase the speed of the car while driving down the highway. We are about to hit a sharp turn and I tell her to slow down, but she mistakes the brake for the pedal. It's too late now. We miss the turn and veer off of the road, over a big hill. Like you see in the movies.

I physically felt us fly over the hill, in the car, in the air. So technically, I had one of those "falling" dreams that are pretty common per www.dreammoods.com.

The scary part was that I didn't have my seat belt on while in the car. So while in the air, I fumbled with my seat belt and luckily got it across my body and clicked in before we hit the ground.

But I never hit the ground. I woke myself up before that. And I'm happy about that too. I'm so glad I can physically wake myself up from dreams now. I just hate finding out what the ending is and really don't want to either. I couldn't do that when I was little.

So anyway, I woke myself up EARLY in the morning with my heart pounding out of my chest. And because my heartbeat is going ninety-to-nothing, GT wakes up and kicks the crap out of me continuously for about an hour. So I didn't (or couldn't) go back to sleep.

And then I realized how much of an impact my body has on his. Not that I didn't know it before, but up until now it's just been one of those things you read in books. This (to me) is actual physical evidence that he responds to what's going on with and inside of me. Again, the light bulb turned on.

Does that mean I'll give up Cokes? Ehhhhhhhhhh, I'm still debating.
